I think one of the things this final series was good at was not quite doing what we expected (redeeming Kitty's sister! Revisiting Humphrey and his wife's living days) while remaining in keeping with the show's, er, spirit. So, although I think the baby's birth is the obvious way to go with the Christmas special, who knows how they'll tackle it?
