I really did enjoy the ending to this and for once, I'm glad it was changed from how it ended in the original source material.
Pregnant Angela put herself is so many dangerous situations that I thought would surely end in her losing the baby or some other injury -- she was definitely brave and even thought they lost Roper to the buyer's henchmen, I think she was still pretty satisfied with how things turned out.
Caro was put into a horrible situation but at least Jed did understand -- at least Caro wasn't tortured like Jed was. I was surprised that Roper didn't kill her outright and it seemed that he really didn't know how close she and Pine had gotten until the very end, when Jonathan also used her as a bargaining chip if Roper wanted his money back.
And how long had it been since Jonathan left Cairo? I was really surprised he wasn't recognized by other employees beside his friend in the kitchen.
