shallowness | this film always makes me think fondly of Seth Cohen

I rewatched Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon last night for the upteemth time. (Thank you, The Lego Ninjago Movie.) I was reminded of how Shu Lien is my favourite. Well, in my top 3 of favourite repressed warrior lady types, because of Aeryn Sun. The film is so beautiful. I think I laughed more than I normaly do (especially at Jen's terrible lack of planning), but was left a bit verklempt by the ending, like always.

Always stop the DVD before the song over the credits starts.
