I think, with Downton, it was always more that there were bits of it that I was in love with, and there was just enough of those for me to stick with it. It's a;ways been ridicuous, but a kind that is very acceptable on a Sunday night.

But yes, this is more a film for people who have followed the series, although I think you could pick up quite a lot about "new" servants and husbands quickly.
