In case you thought I was done with Gotham

I posted a fic: Cat Got Your Tongue? (Bruce/Selina, post the Gotham finale, teen, 2,071 words). This is one of a bunch of fics I drafted after seeing the finale, but didn’t get aroud to working on it…until this summer. It was the first of the printed-out fics I picked up. It’s driven by the belief that Bruce owed Selina a huge apology for abandoning her in the penultimate episode even if the fic doesn’t directly tackle that. They probably encounter each other between the scenarios I write about.

I hummed and hahed over the prologue, which is from Selina’s POV, while the rest is from Bruce’s, but I didn’t feel strongly enough that it should be cut. It strikes a contrast with the title, maybe, which was there from early drafts, and I thought about changing but didn’t want to be too solemn. Anyway, I’ve been polishing it when I wasn’t obsessing over Scorpion, which is when it passed the 2,000 word mark, and now it is out there, eleven months after I started writing it.
