Thank you for the clarifications! The theme music had sounded wrong to me for the first few episodes, and then it didn't, but I wasn't sure if it was all in my mind, and as I watched all three episodes en bloc, I was confuzzled. Good to have the explanation for that as well as the bad back mystery.
