Agreed. I watched the first episode of Discovery, then found it difficult to watch the next, gave it up without too much regret and that's at least three Star Trek series ago.

I'll add Babylon 5 to the list.

I don't remember Farscape being based on Blake's 7, exactly, but I think the consensus is B7 was an influence on it.
