All about Suits

Suits 6.14 Admission of Guilt

Well, that was interesting for me as a revelation of Harvey and Mike’s ethics or lack thereof. Mike is still pretending that he’s not going to go back to the firm, he just really wants to be a lawyer to help people.

Harvey did endear himself to me by being dismissive of the AI Donna. At the end of the episode, I had to ask what is it ready for?

I liked Rachel’s interaction with Katrina.

You may wish to dismiss everything I write in this post after this admission – I only (consciously?) got that the ‘suits’ thing is a play on lawsuits as much as a reference to the lawyers (or ‘lawyers’) and the clothes they wear.

And now for some fic recs, all Suits (with the disclaimer that I have limited knowledge of canon, so I have no idea what's canon, fanon etc).

Twelve Years: phrenetis (Harvey/Donna)
About Harvey slowly coming to the realisation of the nature of his feelings for Donna. Really liked the structure of it.

(The following were read and rated highly in 2013 and are mainly post season 2.)

It Takes a Fool: abvj (Donna and Rachel friendship, Donna/Harvey, Rachel/Mike implied)
Summary: Rachel and Donna drink wine, watch Mad Men and commiserate over the men in their lives.

the nature of inviting: magisterequiem (Donna/Harvey vignette)
Summary: he texts her at 2am months later asking to come up.

it all comes down to you: abvj (Donna/Harvey)
Summary: Harvey is finding more and more lately that she fills the space around him with something that breathes a hint of possibility. Christmas fic set in the (hopefully) not too distant future.

if you're still bleeding: veils (Donna/Harvey, strong teen)
Summary: New York is Harvey Specter’s town, but Donna’s the one who really knows how to run it.

The Cracks in the Sidewalk: anr (Donna/Harvey, set around 2.07)
Summary: She knows nothing, absolutely nothing at all.
