10 Things I Hate About You
For Love or Money: Ultra (Kat/Patrick, double drabble)
Fun AU take.
Harry Potter
he is strong as a star from heaven: tigriswolf (Neville, gen, long, spoilers for Philosopher's Stone)
This look at their first few days at Hogwarts through Neville's POV is lovely and marvellous. I loved seeing how and when his bravery shone through the anxiety and fears. So satisfying to see him start to find his own path at Hogwarts.
Rubbish: She’s a Star (pre Ron/Hermione, GoF, missing scene)
This captures Ron just right. I felt for him and shook my head at him at the same time in his strong feelings and cluelessness about them. Some really nice touches (although it was a touch too much in US English.)
MCU
With this secret kiss: the carlysutra (Natasha/Bruce ficlet, teen)
A sexy take on Nat making Bruce go undercover that’ll make you smile.
The Secret Garden/Buffy the Vampire Slayer
pretty maids all in a row: aria (gen, Mary, Dickon, Colin, Martha, OFC, long)
Summary: Mary Lennox, vampire slayer.
This works so, so well. I loved how it weaves in Mary's time in India, built on the book and the characterisations.
