some confusions

I've been a bit miffed the past few days, because I thought Pitch Perfect 2 was out on DVD already, so I rewatched the first film and was looking forward to picking up and enjoying the sequel, but I'm going to have to wait a week and a half.

Furthermore, although I tried not to, I managed to catch up on these two Parks and Rec episodes in the wrong order. Again. I’m blaming Dave’s webdesign.

4.13 Bowling for Votes

Leslie not letting things go? Getting fixated on that one comment? Say it isn’t so.

I was glad they immediately answered my ‘should Chris be raising money for Leslie?’ question.

Nice to see Plaza’s range as April started really trying!

I don’t think Ben could actually manage to beat up most of Pawnee’s residents.

4.14 Operation Ann

Galentine’s Day!!! Is asking about ladies’ love lives totally appropriate, though, even if I’m as happy as anyone about Leslie/Ben? (I am curious about Donna’s men.)

Ben is so amateur league in gift giving compared to Leslie.

The titles of the murals was possibly topped by Jerry’s unfortunate Craigslist ad.

Ron Swanson found love...with scavenger. How Leslie got that clue on his sole without his knowledge is a question for the ages.

But like Leslie, I find Ann/Tom weird in the extreme (although there was a moment in 4.13 that could have been seen as the beginnings, except nothing else about their interaction then helped.) However, even if Ben had to cheat to find Leslie instead of following her clues, his willingness to ditch the dinner to stalk Ann on the basis of no proof shows it’s meant to be.

April was really, really pretty with the waves and make-up. And it would be good if she could move on from hating Ann. She did, after all, get Andy, whom she seems to be into. There’s plenty of other less tedious stuff fr her to be petty about. Kind of a bit soon after her trying to be nice to Chris in the previous episode, though (and it wasn’t made explicit that she called Millicent over or anything.)

I am not complaining about Ron Swanson getting the last word in both episodes, mind.
