I started watching Downton and got interrupted, so expect a post on that after I catch up.
I started off the pros’ routine frowning at Aljiaz’s padded shoulders, but soon got into it, because I loved the story. (For a long time, I thought Natalie was playing the witch. Sorry, Kristina.)
Fair enough that they relieved Mark first after last week’s trauma. I couldn’t think of anyone who the producers would be likely to break by making them wait and wait, though. While I would have rather seen Judy gone than Scott, based on last night’s show, you couldn’t argue with him being in the bottom two (unless if you were Len, who seemed to have forgotten he’d also put him there).
I love Annie Lennox’s voice, but watching her move – playing the character of Twitchy Conductor – wasn’t great, and I don’t know why she couldn’t have just worn a tux.
As soon as Judy was called safe, you knew Scott was probably going, but I am glad that Alison wasn’t safe (it wouldn’t have been an outrage if Steve had been under the red light). Simon’s shock that he was safe was fun to watch.
I actually tried watching Alison and Aljiaz’s dance as an American Smooth in the dance-off, although it was hard with me thinking ‘We did it for Emily Bronte’. Len’s comments were interesting.
Zoe is good at mum-wrangling and, obviously, a better mover than Tess.
