And there were TV Christmas specials.

I capped off the night by watching the Community season 3 Christmas episode, and laughed at and enjoyed all the songs, although Baby Boomer Santa is probably my favourite. And then, because I have a new Blu-Ray player since the last time I watched season 3, I watched the episode where Annie and Abed have a fight in the Dreamatorium, and this time it did not skip at all, so that was happy-making. Also Abed-as-Troy’s speech about not getting Inception made me laugh the most. <3 Community.

Bits and bobs
Nov. 13th, 2020 07:56 amI learned that Agents of SHIELD is 'back on British screens for its final season' from this paean to the show (short version: if you like Buffy and/or Doctor Who…(although it fails to mention May. Grr.), but of course it’s on Disney+, and not enough to make me subscribe to Disney+. Oh well, you always start watching an American show knowing this sort of thing can happen, or it’ll get cancelled at an untmely point, and I nearly did stop watching it at one point, but then it hit lots of my buttons that season.

phantom power
Sep. 21st, 2020 06:16 pmI posted a ficlet! Old, Forgotten Things (Ghosts (TV) ensemble, gen. Summary: It’s hard to remember things when you’re trying to reunite your head with your body or when Thomas is being really annoying.) I drafted it when I saw the prompt, back in April, when I got the central idea. I’ve kept coming back to it, managing to bring in more and more of the ghosts (sorry, Robin!) Seeing on Saturday that the second series is airing tonight (yay! I may not watch it live but I will watch it) gave me the boost to stop dithering and edit it again with an eye to posting it.
