only the echoes of my mind

I posted a ficlet last night – Indelible, post-7.03 Orange Blossom Ice Cream, Patrick/Teresa (so weird to type their first names, but apt, I think.) Season 7 has made me break my Mentalist duck. Well, I saw there’s another fic among my files, which I haven’t dared open. Basically, there’s a part of me that thinks that there should be more making out after each episode, apparently. That was partly the motivation for that ficlet.
I’m still miles behind on Revenge, but caught up on 4.5 Repercussions last night.
Jack made himself a suspect, while thinking that lying to David was his real problem. If Ben has kept a copy of the file, I may take him seriously.
Jack and Nolan were deeply transparent around David, and David’s conversation with Jack was especially loaded. Meanwhile, Emily was near frantic, until her confrontation with Victoria.
Daniel is so much slower on the uptake around the ladies than he should be, which makes his assurance amusing, especially as Margiaux is currently handling him, but is easy play for Emily and Victoria.
Meanwhile Charlotte’s revenge on Jack felt petty as much because of Carl as David. (I laughed at the climax of the episode, where David got the Voiceover of Revenge.) Every time she tries to pull off a Victoria, she fails, although she has the power to hurt Jack and Emily. But oh look, another spiral into booze and drugs.
I know Emily succeeding in returning David to their home, so he could flashback to moppet!Amanda was meant to be emotive, but Their Song just made me think about how David wasn’t nearly paranoid enough.
And Jack’s line about a father never forgetting their child was hilarious, given that one could fairly ask where Carl was at that time when his dad was enjoying a glass with Nolan and Emily. Let’s pretend he was napping on the sofa in the lounge.
The Crescent Moon Tattoo guy(s) suggest another conspiracy, possibly involved with what really happened to David during his big time out. Oh dear, because Revenge does these type of things so well.
I especially liked Louise's turquoise dress because of the colour and Emily's blue dress towards the end, because of the skirt.
