Convenient it may have been, but let's all grab hold of the end of the Greene plotline. They must have realised it did nothing for the viewers, and I'm afraid they found another way of making Anna miserable.
I just want her and Edith to be happy. The thing with Edith is she just needs to go for it herself with some realism about the consequences.
