I think that the marriage between the Wing Commander and Theresa will definitely make them both unhappy in the long run. Even with his reasons for living in the present, he is definitely on the rebound as well, using the quick proposal as a way for him to deal with the fact that he can't have who he really wants. If only he and Theresa could truly admit their real feelings -- I think they'd make good friends, if not lovers.
I had really hoped she was going to say "No" during the wedding vows.
And we don't know for sure who was actually killed in the crash, unless I missed something (the ending I saw was when the rest of the town began to approach the wreckage and the house). I thought everyone in the house would've been killed, though it seems the baby managed to somehow survive. But really, that was a terrible way to end the series (unless it's been renewed?); it definitely went out with a literal bang.
Joyce has been extremely helpful and friendly this series, and I do like this new and improved version. Handing over Jenny's notebook to Frances was definitely a nice touch, as was bringing old toys for Noah to play with.
Laura and David would make a cute couple even though it does seem to be much more platonic than those scenes suggested.
I was glad that Pat finally stood up to Bob – you’d have thought someone else at the reception would have noticed she was making a scene.
Yes! How did no one else notice the loud voices between them and the obvious argument just by watching their movements? Or did people notice and were too 'polite' to intrude on their domestic issues? And I do think that Bob's book is about a couple where the wife is having an affair with a soldier. Who needs to deal with writer's block when he could just lift the drama from his own life?
