shallowness: Jadzia smiling eyes closed text reads 'Hee!' (DS9 Jadzia is amused)
[personal profile] shallowness
Caught up with Suits 6.13 Teeth. Nose. Teeth.

I snickered a lot at some of the character interaction, but Donna had a poor episode – however she justified it (and she was wrong about why the IT guy came to see her so often) she was sexually harassing that guy. But then she got some pseudo-AI version of herself to play around with. Fortunately, she isn’t Narcissus (though when she and Harvey do get together, they aren't going to be a couple you'd describe as 'modest'), but Rachel’s friend, but that was a daft development.

And I didn’t love the blue dress with the weird extra material on the back, either.

Should have seen that Mike’s days at the legal clinic were so very numbered as they gave him so much interaction with Harvey, things went so wrong with everyone (plus Marissa overpromising to the client AGAIN barely registered) at the clinic as they continued with their one case.

But his impetuous cheque wasn’t drawn upon and he did seem to talk to his fiancée (off screen).

Meanwhile Louis was oddly endearing, but I don’t think they’re going to get much further with Harvey/Donna (until the wedding??? Wedding planning shenanigans?) if the other two main guys are in relationships, even though Harvey/Donna is clearly more important to the show than Louis/her off Popular.

Mike had another rousing moment, even if it wasn’t quite a speech or successful in making Oliver a competent trial performer, at about the same point in the episode.

And then there was a double-bill of B99 to watch.

4.11 This felt like the show went up a gear, just in terms of the scale of the opening tag and then the fact that the response to the manhunt was a Jake/Amy bet. The way their compatibility shone throuh the competitiveness and Jake's weird life choices was endearing. The stuff back at the precinct also amused me, and I found myself pleased, rather than otherwise, that the episode ended with Jake turning to the Pontiac Bandit (and that I only had to wait the ad break to find out more.)

4.12 I was with Holt in his suspicions, as Jake was being very idiotic. I think Holt was the funniest thing about the episode, although Terry's anxiety about old age and Charles's use of his patheticness to get in on the text chain were amusing. BUT WHAT WAS THAT ENDING?

The continuity announcer said the show was on 'half term' - but I'm now confused as to whether that means a week off or more. After the last two weeks, I wish E4 had held back airing the season until it could air it in full uniterrupted.
