It's goodwill for the original show and interest in the period and setting that are keeping me going.
I though Olivia brought complexity in terms of race (so that it wasn't just about white-black tensions), someone who had to suppress herself even more than the others and, with her link with the police, I'm sure they'll be exploring more of her.
Hopefully, the next cases will be better. I didn't watch enough of The X-Files to recognise Mr Mason, though the actor playing his son seemed familiar.
