Hey, even Sam can have a correct thought once in a while! ... he's actually better at reading other people than most of the senior staff.

Fair enough :), and you're probably right about his having the highest EQ of them.

Though I'd also venture Bartlet just has daddy issues in general, in a way that's so common with male-written media.

That's definitely also true - I have vague memories of what we learned about Bartlet and his father, and it's very clear that Sorkin and most of his co-writers etc are writing from a male POV.

TWW is good material to think with.

I wish I were more of a sponge when it came to quotage!

Supposedly it was written to try to get Rob Lowe an Emmy nod after he was left out in the 1st season, and it shows. It's not bad, just...weird.

Oh, that makes sense. It's clear from the guest cast and crew on the podcast that the show had a strong relationship with the Emmys.

Clark Gregg came to my workplace once (long ago, in the before times), and I'm quite sure I was the only one quietly fangirling over him because of TWW, rather than the MCU!

Oh, that's so cool!

To be fair, I think he'd have helped even without the flattery, but it sure didn't hurt.

Yeah, I mean, as soon as the grand-daughter referred to Sam writing about the case when he was at Princeton, it seemed inevitable he'd take it on now.

(Seriously though, that upside-down map freaks me out. No.)

The upside-down thing affects me more than the sizing, although I'm inceasingly less of a visual person.
