Brooklyn Nine-Nine
you can hear it in the silence: brella (Amy/Jake, early season 2, teen, long)
I enjoyed this so much, with Amy's internal monologue being even spikier than what she was saying and how, under the righteous anger and sarcasm, those softer feelings kept breaking through. Great choices about when and how to start and end the story.
MCU
The Benedict Affair: subjunctive (Bruce/Natasha, steampunk AU)
Features the going undercover as a couple trope, which I love. The steampunk AU of it all was smoothly done. I loved the mutual wistfulness that's so them.
paint my face, earn my keep, clean my kill: sundancekid (Natasha, gen, post Aveners Assemble, it's been jossed by Black Widow, but that's all right)
Strange, violent English idioms as a way to explore Natasha - that works so, so well. I loved the emotional build-up of this piece.
Scorpion
Baby, can I hold you tonight: birdbox (Toby/Happy, ER, teen, jossed but this was an early fic)
This is great. In-character Toby POV of Happy's behaviour and their burgeoning relationship, with all his observations laced with love.
While You Were Sleeping
Firenze: Kiraios (Lucy/Jack post movie)
This is altogether charming, a great portrayal of adjusting to being happily married, and the character voices are spot on. (Bonus points for how the gift buying is handled.)
