I might be a bit harsh on S5...I was about 18 when it first aired and was righteously upset that Sorkin had departed. There are some decent eps in there, and one thing the new writers were way better at was writing actual storylines for women that didn't necessarily revolve around whether a man found them attractive or cool. And I really do like the back half of S6 and S7! There's just a large change in the mood and feel of the show, especially in early S5, that I don't care for.
