I didn't think anyone else was watching Expats. I've seen through episode 5 ("Central") and like you, I don't like any of the main characters. I've been skipping some over of the scenes but am getting the general gist of it all. I just want to know if we'll ever get any resolution about Gus (but not get spoiled by looking up information about the book this is based on).
I read somewhere that this show probably won't air in Hong Kong or China, and I didn't really get why until the protest movement appeared in episode 5. I think ep 5 was slightly better since it focuses more on our secondary characters and you care more about what may happen to them than the main players.
