last night, I did my Wednesday thing

Parks and Rec 2.19 Park Safety
I’ve long thought that they cross over the line into bullying Jerry, and although the episode expanded on that (thank you for having Mark call Ron on it, at least) and showed how he is sometimes a legitimate object of laughter, it made even Leslie way unsympathetic. On the other hand, after her Tom impersonation, I want more of those.
I was surprised that we didn’t get to see April go on a rampage in the self-defence class. She needed even more of a vent than her mighty glare could give.
The loud park ranger and, as ever, the intra-govermental politics of Pawnee were very funny.
2.20 Ugh, I forgot to note the title, Summer Catalogue?
The rccoon hat was funny (are raccoons Pawnee’s mascots or something?) and the various attempts to get photos were funny (alas, poor Mark), especially the picnic that eventually turned everyone into children – even Leslie. Andy’s response to April getting carded makes me wonder what his age is meant to be. Bascially, it doesn't strike me as a Jeff/Annie situation at all. Of course, I'm coming from a country where the drinking age is leaving-school age, and though yes, April is very young, his mental age is way below hers.
Anyway, the Leslie-Ron stuff by the end was very heartening. Bonding over breakfast food at any hour!
The Mindy Project 1.11 Bunk Beds
Mean Danny making them work on Saturdays when he was barely there. I kept getting distracted by all of the extras in the background at the office. Why were they there?
At least Mindy eventually redeemed herself with Riley.
Morgan is the funniest. They can always go to him for weirdness.
This episode was a bit bitty, though.
And did any of these shows, funny though they were, make me laugh as much as the Arrested Development season 1 episodes I've been watching? No.
(I've reached 'Pier Pressure').
