I remembered this was on with several minutes to spare, so I got to see the episode of New Girl with the kiss I was spoiled for months ago. I don't quite get New Girl, I have to admit. Am I too old for it? But then I was acting like a Rugrat earlier in the night - that reference probably dates me.
Anyway, the Mindy Project was quite amusing (I wasn't laughing so much as I was the night before when rewatching Arrested Development's 'Best Man for the GOB', say). The funniest part was the midwives' advert. Mindy dressing up as a dog was undercut by wondering 'but WHY would you think it was a good idea?', although I liked the riff on local Tv that ensued - Danny is a local TV news nut, but, of course can't hack it as well as Mindy. It was actually more shipper friendly than I was building myself up for. Of course I got very excited at him calling her 'Min'.
Jeremy/Betsey is developing a little in the background - his character has been pushed back a little by go-to Morgan, who dirty-hand old lady (not that funny) made out to be comparatively responsible in this episode.
I was tired, I was engaged and amused, but I sometimes feel it could be better, either if it was a longer show - a half-hour comedy on the Beeb only shaves a couple of minutes off the thirty minute mark, not ten.
