More ficlets: all original fiction. Anything over 100 words long will also be posted at AO3.

Your best fantasy. Original fic, OCs. 88 words. Universal. Written for the prompt ‘Any, any, your best fantasy’ at the Three Sentence Ficathon 2026.

Flying unicorns, singing dolphins and only sweets to eat would be the daughter's choice. A quiet room with dimmed lighting and no chores to be done would be the mother's. The wizard - both father and husband - decides to compromise and the family are served from then on by miniature flying unicorns who make no noise at all.

first, last, only. Original fic, OFC/OMC. 111 words. Universal. Written for the prompt ‘any, any, when you hold me, it holds me together / and you kiss me in a way that's gonna screw me up forever’ at the Three Sentence Ficathon 2026.

She went away for an education that led her to a city and a busy life with rules she pretended to understand, but didn't, not really. Her family called her back home, clucked at her that she needed to rest and eat, and it was all too much so she ran out to the old, abandoned park that meant one thing when she was a child and another when she was a teenager. It's somehow not surprising that he's there, her first love, waiting with open arms and suddenly the timing is right and she is sure enough of herself to admit that he'll be her last love (her only love.)

The Pact. Original fic, OFC/OMC. 161 words. PG. Written for the prompt ‘Any, any, five kisses.’ at the Three Sentence Ficathon 2026. Double fill.

You have to understand that they're a little drunk and desperate when they make their pact. They have their first kiss where Gabby, the most reliable gossip they know, can see them so that she can prep everyone. The next time they kiss, it's in front of Caelan's ex, and he awkwardly compliments Nora later on how good her acting is. The third kiss is in front of a lot of people, and it's soft and tender because Nora initiates it, but she likes that he follows her lead. The fourth is in front of Nora's ex, and Caelan is the initiator; it leaves her breathless, but wondering how much of that was male competitiveness. But there's nobody - nobody they know, nobody they don't - other than themselves around the next time they kiss and they start to understand that maybe something else was going on when they made their pact, something that had nothing to do with their exes.

Objecting. Original fic, OCs. PG. 102 words. Written for the prompt ‘Any, any, objecting at a wedding’ at the Three Sentence Ficathon 2026.

"I object," the words ring out in the large hall, and then there's a delayed collective gasp from underneath the fascinators, "I don't think that this wedding should take place when nearly all the guests have bet on when they're going to divorce."

The cousin running the betting pool stands up and shouts, red-faced, "Says the person who was too tightfisted to put their money where their mouth is."

The bride looks to her parents, and the groom looks to his best man, wondering if they laid any wagers, then, and the fact that they’re glaring at bigmouth answers that for them.
