Avengers
The way that light attaches to a girl: musesfool Steve/Peggy, Steve/Darcy
Summary: Five women Steve has drawn.
Beautifully done story about what art means to Steve and how he sees his subjects.
Memorabilia: smilebackwards Gen, Steve, Coulson, Tony.
This is adorable character work as Steve does something about Coulson’s ruined cards.
What I Mean to Say Is: celeste9
Post-movie Coulson-Natasha friendship fic that left me glowing.
The Hammer and the Ice: grav_ity Jane/Thor, Loki, Natasha. AU of Avenegers Assemble
This fic grows in power, taking an intriguing 'what if' and using a heightened style to add epic scale to it.
Artificial Grape: redbrunja Bruce/Darcy, R
Loved the characterisations and the playing with tropes and with knowingness going on in this ficlet. I need to read more of this pairing.
steal my heart 'til kingdom come: tosca1390
Atmospheric fic with lovely interaction between Jane and Thor. I always wished that there'd been something like this in the Avengers movie.

The Circus Life of Bailey Alden Clarke, Proprietor: elevenoclock
Or, five things that happened to Bailey, after.
This is a lovely and imaginative continuation of the novel, and the last section is brilliant.

Lovely snapshot of a visit to the Night Circus.
Pacific Rim
footsteps of giants: hyacinthian (Mako centric, written for a commentficathon, fills 4 comments although it initially says 3)
This fic made my heart burst for Mako. It’s about who she is, who she wants to be, who she thinks she can be. The strand about weight contrasted with the little girl haunted by ghosts will stay with me.

Mako and Raleigh trying to deal with their bond and their feelings in the aftermath. Gorgeous writing.
