I caught up with all of it.
Loved the pro ladies’ make-up and I enjoyed the opening dance, even if it felt like good bits tacked together rather than a fluid whole. Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga with the dancing Aussies were fun.
I think Mark being in the bottom two could be explained by his being on so early, not the best quickstep and not doing such an out-there number as last week's. However, when it was down to Scott and Tim, you knew he’d be okay so long as he didn't mess up too enormously. I think Scott may have been saved by the feeling that the judges went too far.
What a lovely leaving speech from Tim – and fair play to him for dancing his way out, even if it’s a good thing he wasn’t doing that specimen of dancing in front of the judges. It’s not a travesty that he went, although if will be if people other than Judy and Scott go in the next two weeks. Still, it usually takes something like that to get me voting.
Thoughts on Downton will have to wait.
