Fun at the opera? Does not compute.

I saw Inside Out this weekend (first visit to the cinema in a while) and it was a delight. I suspect there’ll be a generation of kids who saw it at the cinema and thought it was a fun, colourful romp about Joy, Sadness and Riley and then, a few years later on, will watch it again and be blindsided. Not that it’s the same thing, but every time I rewatch Batman Returns I realise how much of it went over my head when I saw it in the cinema. Amid the trailers for ‘not for me’ films, Bill (the Horrible Histories lot tackle Shakespeare) looks really funny.
Here’s a multifandom dance vid worth watching if you need a pick me up.
Shut up and Dance: mstabularasa (there were a few clips I was less enthused about, but the choices for 'this woman is my destiny' were spot on, and it'll make you smile).
I watched Partners in Crime, N or M? Part one live.
This continues to be ridiculous and not to work well enough for me to get over it, and yet, it’s watchable. I have found another reason why Walliams is wrong as Tommy – he’s too tall.
Anyway, this new mystery involves a blonde lady (probably a Russian assassin/spy) striding around like she’s Brigitte Nielsen. Also nuclear bombs. Uncle Major Carter’s chauvinism blinders were on as he asked Tommy to take a message from a chap called Harrison, who then died, and then take his place, but not to tell Tuppence, indeed to lie better around her.
Tommy is still a fool oftener than he’s capable, but he did try to keep Tuppence out of it because she was nearly shot, nosing around. Wasted effort. They ended up at a seaside hotel trying to flush out a spy, under separate aliases, basically having a marital spat, not sure if they were competing or co-operating. The names of the actors in the titles gave away who will be important.
The music was a bit too helpful ‘This bit is TENSE’ etc, a bit too noticeable. There were also lots and lots of times when the camera held and held on reaction shots.
