Mar. 17th, 2014 08:01 amI posted a Musketeers fic last night – ideally, I would have posted it a little sooner than fifteen minutes before the episode aired (on my journals). As it was AU (wilfully so, somewhat OOC), I wasn’t worried about jossing, per se, and one or two things that happened on the show made me feel better about my fic.
Anyway, said fic If I let you in, is a modern-day college, well, university AU as suggested by someone else's prompt, which pinged me hard. Translating them to a modern-day university setting was an interesting exercise and it allowed me to vent about Constance and d’Artagnan’s relationship within that framework, hence the fact that it's over 3,000 words. I was also enjoying writing The Musketeers fic from a female POV.
