B99 and good news

It was a good sign that I laughed outright at the picture for this ep on the catch-up website, which was of this episode’s slo-mo walk.
I really enjoyed the dynamic between the Pontiac Bandit and Jake and Amy here, the way he smarmed to both of them, the mild peril caused by incompatibility/lack of effort from Jake into the relationship. And the setting of a cruise, mainly for widows and widowers, added extra chuckles.
Fumero was basically carrying a Huge Bag to cover her pregnancy throughout. I think they missed a few positioning tricks.
The best part of Holt’s sister’s plotline wasn’t Gina and Terry’s ridiculous claims on Holt’s time, but Raymond trying to talk like a drama queen. Heh.
And Rosa’s attempts at sucking up – she cracked a smile! – were probably never going to match Boyle’s.
But yes, show, your central couple is loveable and the audience agrees with the characters who ship them.
