Parks and Rec 6.5
And they’ve brought in Jamm and the other Councillors to stymie Leslie in the campaign.
Another bad English accent to the Parks and Rec collection. It’s worse that it was done in front of a guesting Tatiana Maslany who can do so much better.
Ben deserved a well played for alerting Ron to the fact that the Government would get his estate, but then there was all the punning, so he was quite ‘inspiring and heroic’ as Leslie would put it.
I liked that we had some focus on Leslie-Donna, and they’ve certainly built up the tweeting habit. Jamm’s posturing and Leslie’s responses to it, as well as, obviously, April and Ron, were amusing, though.
6.6
Andy’s back, cue destruction of equipment.
Ben’s ideal party sounds about right and Scott sold the whole thing about women in rollerbladers. The costumes were amusing, and so was the tense/daft filibustering. Jamm really deserved the dunking.
Ron and Donna’s harmonious hunting (eventually) was amusing, and yes, Tom/Nadia is even more inexplicable than Tom/Ann, because at least his flat and stuff was a justification.
It should be interesting to have another woman run against Leslie and see if they can manage the respect/Eagleton balance.
