Don't go into the basement, little girl

Gotham 2.20 Unleashed
Harvey acted in haste and the warrant and bringing Jim led to...nothing. I appreciate Strange taking action after Jim's last visit.
Good speech from Harvey, although it’s not the first time a bad guy has come into their house, IS IT? I don’t think hunting down a criminal’s known associates is ‘thinking outside the box’, but rather good policing, oh wait, it was Jim defining it as such.
Do we blame Bruce for not wanting to wait on Jim Gordon, therefore? Nope.
Did I want to step into the TV to flatten Alfred’s tie and think ’15 year old little girl' is a contradiction in terms? Yes.
Selina should make Bruce grovel before helping him, mind. But apparently all is forgiven, or the show’s memory is only capable of remembering Bridget and using her as Selina’s motivation.
Not sure what I make of Selina's straightened hair. It's not that it looks bad, I’m just used to the curls, I suppose, and the new style did make her facial features jump out.
Oh, Tabitha, FAIL on survival instinct, FAIL. It’s all about the men on this show and they did want to give her a litte redemption.
I could have watched several more minutes of Cat(woman-to-be) making her way into Arkham. The encounter with Ed, where she metaphorically refused to blink, was beautiful.
Of course, we had Butch snivelling over Tabitha’s body. I was with Penguin on the snark, although even for Gotham, getting to shout that much in a hospital with no response is a bit much.
Selina overheard enough of the Strange and Peabody show to perhaps suggest that they wouldn’t let her loose out of the asylum if they found her. She also heard enough screaming to warn her that all wouldn’t be well with Bridget...
Some terrible battening down the hatches at Gotham manor, and while Bruce was never going to listen to Alfred and get out of there, he didn’t follow Azrael’s example and avail himself of weapons, although the boots in the gargae were smart, but the leaving the car wasn’t, though Azrael should have just stangled him instead of going for the ceremony of the sword. Jim’s entrance was predictable, like a lot of the moves in this episode, but Penguin and Butch’s arrival was rock and roll. Never send a handgun in to do a rocket-launcher’s job etc.
So, I chortled that Selina hadn’t led Ed to freedom (although that’s a psychopath one might regret being so uncivil to), but her encounter with Firefly and her weapon was devastating. I mean, she should survive with her nine lives, but still, I don’t even want my girl to get burnt let alone by a friend whom she loved.
That's the price for having quite a Selina heavy episode, I suppose.
A fair bit to process and adjust to as well as that cliffhanger before going to the season’s last few episodes.
