The Bourne Legacy

This explores identity and human needs beautifully and believably for these two, particularly through the characterisation of Aaron.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Moral Support: hbtthomas (Amy, Jake (could be read as pre Amy/Jake)
This is sweet.
Secret Santiago: hbthomas (gen, season 1, jossed, quite long)
This made me laugh and feels like an episode with its mix of silliness, weirdness and sweetness as the precinct goes crazy over Secret Santa, despite Terry’s best efforts.
Galaxy Quest
Counting Stars: littleheaven70 (ensemble, canon pairings)
Such a positive, celebratory, enjoyable vid.
Harry Potter
Light in the Dark: Djamila Knopf (Harry, gen)
I really like this artist’s style and the boldness of the black and white for the central theme (she’s also done portraits of Hermione and Ron.)
Independence Day
We gather together: coralysendria (gen, canon pairings, long)
What a satisfying fill-in this is. Set on Thanksgiving Day 1996, I like the balance it strikes between being in the moment, honouring the past and prefiguring the future of Resurgence. Good character voices, too.
The Lake House
New Old Love: fabrisse (Kate/Alex)
Really lovely expansion of the film. Good job on Kate and Alex's voices.
Lord of the Rings
A Flowering of Talent: tanaquific (Gen, Elanor, Éowyn ficlet.)
A lovely ficlet that focuses on women's crafts, alluding subtly to the events of the book, and very good on the size differential for a hobbit in Gondor.
MCU
Four Partnerships: J (j_writes) (Gen)
Written pre 'Avengers Assemble', so it's been jossed, but it's plausible based on what we knew then, and I like the balance of agent competence and developing personal interactions between Coulson, Natasha and Clint.
Mr and Mrs Smith
you should see what's in the medicine cabinet: carlyinrome (John/Jane, PG-13)
Very in-character Christmas-set ficlet.
Multifandom
Multifandom daughter: DJCProductions (strong language, injury detail, possible 'I am your father'esque spoilers)
Really thought-provoking vid about fathers and daughters and the depiction of that relationship in TV and film.
Sherlock
The Game is Something: KatrinDepp (gen, canon-typical language, up to season 3)
This vid amused me - it wallows in the silliness of the show (making a change from teh angst).
Tam Lin (Pamela Dean)
All Seasons and their Change: tsukara (Janet/Thomas)
The language and tone shine most brightly here. Bravura opening that the rest keeps up with for a lovely story about Janet and Thomas starting to build a life together.
