Agents of SHIELD 5.3 or 5.4 according to Epguides
A Life Earned
Daisy had to face up to the consequences of the whole winging Jemma’s rescue fiasco. Enter another Inhuman (a pretty boy) with cool mind reading powers. Kasius and his lady enforcer looked into the whole ‘number of SHIELD people come to the future’, and although I’d back May (Coulson’s enforcer) against your average Kree thug, against Sinara and her Magneto balls, with a gammy leg…eh. (Although May destroyed one of the balls. Is Sinara like a Kree inhuman?)
Meanwhile Phil, especially, had no reason to trust Deke. I do believe him about his father (there’s no way it can be Fitz, right – just checking!) They found out about the Inhuman baby programme (I still want them to note Daisy has some Kree blood). Does this mean our ladies are at increased risk of infertility, if it’s managed through the food? Or, indeed, our gents? (But what about the baby fic???) So the Kree dole out babies who are breeded to become Inhumans – hopefully – to fight each other for the privilege to travel the ‘verse as slaves as opposed to the other ‘options’ facing them…nice.
As I predicted, Yo-Yo was unrepentant for choosing Macl/her team over the random enforcer, but Grill volunteered Mack to become his enforcer. Mack brooded, and brooded some more over losing his temper as the prospective father pushed his buttons. But dude, framework!Hope was older and that only just happened for you. Stop beating yourself up so much or drop the ridiculously high standards you judgingly hold everyone to.
We got a little glimpse into Kasius’s ultimate plan (bad, so ratcheting up the tension) and I enjoyed the actor’s voice and then…pow! Enter Fitz! I was expecting us to go back to him, possibly linking up with an ancestor of one of the dozen new future chars or the ‘guys’ who transported them. But no.
I think they realised that putting their characters into the Framework worked so well that they’ve decided to have the rebellion/people close to the leader/throwing our heroes into a whole new world all over again. I am fine with that.
