shallownessOver a (busy) week and a half ago, I posted Making a Statement (Sky High. U. Layla/Warren. 160 words. Summary: Warren starts wearing a dark green bracelet.) It was a case of seeing the prompt and getting the idea, Sky High being a film where all the characters are linked with certain colours. If you Google ‘male green bracelet’ you should see images of the type I was thinking of.
I also posted The Enys Taxi Service (Poldark. U. Caroline centric. 256 words. Modern day AU. Inspired by episode 4.8. Summary: Some of the musings of Caroline Enys, née Caroline Penvenan, taxi driver.)
I kept joking that the Enyses were Ross and Demelza’s personal taxi service through season 4, so at the end of the series, jotted this down and expanded on it. I know it’s still slight, and if I had a plot, inclination and the time, it could be expanded, although its wackiness is at odds with what happened to Caroline in the fourth series. But I've got it out of my system, anyway.
I’m currently reading a multi-chapter fic that keeps making me grumble that the writer didn’t get a beta reader. So as not to be a hypocrite: would anyone be willing to beta read two Gotham companion fics? Spoilers up til 4.14, a teen rating, het, exploring one of the many daft things that Gothamites do through original characters. They come to just under 4,000 words together.
