Regarding Passion

'Passion' being the next episode on my Giles-centric DVD. I liked it a little less than 'The Dark Age'. As I watched the fight scene, I even found myself having the heretical thought that if they did do a remake, the fight scenes would be more fluid. The sadism of Angelus's set-up at Giles's place, heightened by how Head plays repressed Giles's excitement and the music is exquisite, but I had issues with the fact that Jenny had no spell, no weapon, and I was done with the voiceover about passion two sentences in. Some lines were too on the nose, although the 'so, I slept with my older boyfriend and it all went wrong and now he is stalking me' throughline overall worked well. The nostalgia hit would be everything relying on a floppy disk. A floppy disk, kids!

Still, fanfic focus will now broaden to the Fanged Four - Dru is delicisiously barking, one can snark at and with Spike endlessly and Boreanaz had such fun as Angelus.
