Sif/Loki

Beautifully written pre Loki/Sif ficlet. (Was posted in the ‘it’s good to see you/i loved you well, when we were young’ series but the writer seems to have dropped the series tag. The parts of the series I liked the least were more about the BDSM elements of the relationship, which I don’t think are OOC, I just enjoyed them less.)

The Breath Comes Out: Barkour (Sif/Loki, post Thor 2)
This balances the tensions, emotions and attraction between them beautifully. (However, I do think the authorial interpretation of what could happen after Thor 2 is a bit of a leap...just think of it as canon divergent fic.)
Stephen/Christine
Her Time: ljs (Christine/Stephen post Doctor Strange, ficlet)
There's a tenderness and depth to this. I enjoyed watching Christine process the sorcery stuff and the changes in Stephen.
Steve/Maria
Eyes Open, Sleeping Beauty: shorti (Steve/Maria, spoilers for Captain America and Avengers)
Good characterisation, with Steve and Maria essaying observational skills and appreciation from a plausible, intriguing first meeting onwards.
Natasha/Bruce
Heart for the Status Quo: inalasahl (Bruce/Natasha, AU where they first met as teenagers backstory)
Teen!Bruce, Teen!'Natalie'!!! I felt so much for them, growing into the adults we know they're going to be, as they clicked amid lies and hurt and high school. ‘An absorbing read,’ I told the author, but what I meant was that I would have loved to have read even more.

Green is the Color: coralysendria (Natasha, Bruce) ficlet, spoilers for Avengers Assemble
Natasha = trying to logically assess something primal. Very movie-centric, but I got a kick out of Natasha giving Tony his dues here.
but the silence spoke volumes: andibeth82 (Natasha, Clint, Laura, Natasha & Clint, Clint/Laura, Natasha & Laura, long one-shot, teen, post Age of Ultron)
This is a satisfying deep-dive into the complex relationship and history between these characters.
