The mood of this vid is so apt for these two.
Battlestar Galactica (2003)
How (Not) To Leave Your Lover: kaydeefalls (Helo/Boomer, Helo/Athena, Boomer/Tyrol,) teen, longish
Emotionally true portrait of Agathon. I like the time given to building Helo and Sharon’s relationship pre-canon, his self-knowledge and how it grows as he falls in love in extraordinary circumstances. Also, the fic gives due weight to his friendship with Starbuck.
The Hour
Enduring on His One Leg: oldshrewsburyian (post s2. Freddie/Bel, ficlet)
‘Summary: Freddie, as usual, thinks too much.’
I’m not going to say too much, this is rather brilliant.
MCU
This Guy: gwyneth (Sam/Maria, teen, longish)
This was so charming! I loved how clear Sam's respect for Maria was. There's enjoyable Maria-Tony interaction, and an excellent first date.
Out of Sight
Could’ve Been: Josette Arnault (Karen/Jack, teen)
Loved the atmosphere of this vid, it makes great use of what someone else described as 'the slips and starts and repetitions in the music'. It shaped the source so smartly to tell the story of 'the feeling of falling for someone even though it's a bad idea'.
