Writing and watching update

we rise together. Harry Potter. PG. Luna, Ginny, Neville. Set during ‘Deathly Hallows’). Written for the threesentenceficathon prompt ‘any, any OT3, thinking, feeling, doing’. 120 words.
This had already been posted to the ficathon, ff.net and A03, but I wasn’t sure if I’d have more three sentence ficlets to post (not so far) and so held back on posting it here.
And: Cub. Sanditon. Universal. Leonora Colbourne, Mrs Wheatley, Alexander Colbourne, Augusta Markham. Pre season 2. 2,284 words. Summary: How Leonora came to have short hair.
Yeah, I can’t believe the length either. This is one of the fics that I first started writing after season 2 of Sanditon aired, and I thought was closest to being done, but I left it for long periods and every time I came back to it, there was more than I expected to do. I saw a trailer for the third season, which is airing on PBS now, I believe, and that gave me the impetus to return to the fic when I had a few spare days and polish it.
There could be more about the absent mother/absent mothers, there could be more about the kind of governess Mrs Wheatley imagines might reach Leonora (and Augusta) as Charlotte would, but I shied away from being too on the nose. There’s one vague reference to my pet theory. I don’t think this fic will get jossed. I ignored niggles and doubts, and refused to ‘let it rest’ again, or it might not have got posted before the show returned in the UK.
I note that it’s another servant POV. There’s a little bit about the family dysfunction, supposition about where Leo’s head is at, so a little bit about her rejecting a set notion of what a proper little girl should be like, but not too much. I can’t tell whether I’ve succeeded, beyond writing a story about how Leo could have come to have her hair so short.
I watched the delayed Kylie and Ghosts sketch for Red Nose Day. It was amusing, never LOL funny, but true to character, from Kitty being jealous to Julian thinking she wasn’t the real Kylie in a backhanded compliment kind of way. I mean, the real Kylie looking to perform somewhere like Button House is a stretch, but it’s For Charity.
Of course, they went for the whole Kylie sees ghosts too (and I wouldn’t mind reading some spin-off fics) and so having a connection with Alison, leading to a lovely moment where Alison accompanied her singing I Should Be So Lucky to the ghosts. (I wish they’d done Locomotion so they could all have done the dance moves,) and Mike finding a kindred spirit (har) in the assistant who knew about Kylie’s supernatural abilites but couldn’t see them either.
