Alice (2009)
Bloom: Alyse (Alice/Hatter, Alice POV)
This is delightful. Part of me thinks Alice is an unreliable narrator because she's so in love, but mainly I believe Hatter does make things brighter and better.
Brave
Some Unexpected Properties of Wood: Fahye (Elinor, Merida, etc, post movie, long)
I love the layers, colours and complexity of this gorgeous story.
Elinor remembered the slow drift from humanity to wild animal, like falling asleep listening to music until only the drumbeat remained.
The Night Circus
for the soul: spoke (Original Reveur, Original Circus Person, ficlet)
A lovely sliver of the circus.
Once Upon A Time
shake it like a ladder to the sun: magneticwave (Emma, Snow-Mary Margaret, Snow/James, AU, teen, long)
Great AU in which Snow went through the cabinet with baby Emma. So interesting to see what changed and what didn't (I loved that Emma's nature and Snow's love for James remained intact), and how the spell and their abilities made things difficult for them.
