In this hushed and tranquil place, our souls become entwined: Who Shot AR (Forrest/Maggie ER ficlet)
This captures this moment and their relationship so well. (Tagging it 'Broccoli test' is apt enough.)
Ms Fisher’s MODern Murder Mysteries
Got You Covered: absofruitlynot (Peregrine/Steed, teen)
Delightful series of vignettes in which Peregrine and James are charming. I liked how they were still finding out more about each other, and that there was affection and admiration along with the UST. (The formatting is a bit irregular.)
Spinning Silver
Drawing Water: Scribe (gen, Rebekah bat Flek-centric, long)
This was gorgeous. Rebekah's voice was so convincing, and her perspective on what had happened and was happening so rich and involving. Really delves into the power of names in this world.
Twisters
Twin Fire Signs: macmillanhowe (Kate/Tyler fix-it ficlet)
Satisfying, with a different atmosphere conjured up in part by telling details. Loved that the driving force was Kate's agency, and all that that showed us.
