The African Queen (book)
The Voyage Home: florahart (Rose/Charlie, teen, longish)
Feels like such a plausible 'what happened next' to the book (which I have read, although probably after I saw the movie, so I always ‘saw’ Rose as played by Hepburn etc. when I read it.) The tone was spot on, and I loved spending time in Rose's head.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
god only knows what I’d be without you: brella (Jake/Amy, long, season 1, jossed)
A ‘five times Jake and Amy drove each other somewhere’ fic.
The feelings! Both of their feelings and different ways of handling them! Funny and bittersweet.
LOTR RPF
At the Moving Picture Ball: valoise (Ensemble cast and crew)
This is a charmer of a vidlet.
Marvel Cinematic Universe
The Nine Lives of Natasha Romanoff: starrika (Natasha-centric, long, teen, pre-Avengers, jossed)
Really gripping, especially Natasha's questioning of identity and rediscovery of it. I thought all the action was very well written.
Iron Man
Unscheduled Meetings: robot_iconography (pre-Iron Man, pre-Pepper/Tony)
I enjoyed this take on Pepper's early days at Stark Industries, the various facets she saw of Tony and what she made of them.
