shallownessI may have slightly spoiled myself for the remaining episodes of The Mindy Project while checking how many episodes were left of this season.
1.22 Triathlon
If I’d had time, I might have written a fic about Mindy’s POV during the final scene of the previous ep, but as this continued that scene, I feel the moment has gone.
There was a period of sustained sniggering while watching this, probably caused by the triathlon rivalry – I really don’t mind these characters (particularly Danny) being childish. Also Morgan joining the midwives’ team was perfect. Bless him, claiming to be the hottest man in the practice, he really is oblivious to the fact of Jeremy’s face and that Tiny Feet isn’t too shabby either.
So, the staff seem to have solidified to include Betsey (aww, I’m glad Mindy felt bad about paying her so little), the nurse who’s now a receptionist (eh), the work experience guy (I’m on board with seeing whether he can develop), the three doctors and, of course, Morgan, for no doubt he’ll be back where he belongs.
Brendan’s RAGE at Mindy deciding to stay with Casey was nicely done. Like Brendan, I don’t want her to be with Casey for long either. Also nicely done, those guys assuming Mindy was harassing Chloe Sevigny’s ex wife, even when the body language was clearly the opposite. I’ll stop now, before listing everything that I thought was nicely done or, for that matter, before getting into what I thought wasn’t.
