Out in the woods! I always love it when the show does this.
I did wonder if we were meant t swallow that Jane was filming it and keeping both of them in shot all the time.
They seeded a thing for Diana to go off and do.
The reference to tweets from Adele was interesting, if frustrating, because I’m missing out on those tweets and any others that there have been. Does that mean that Jane and Adele are directly in contact now? Since when? Does Adele know the truth about her mother?
Anyway, it was good to see Jane opening up to kind Diana, whose advice was good.
82 Cutbacks
Nary a mention of Rose? Granted, Jane was focused on the kids (seeing Adele and her own childhood self in them) and ranting and venting.
There was a lot to like about how they handled this scene, no distracting, unrealistic details to get in the way the emotional content – like Simon’s attempt to understand and sympathise (and first attempt to get Jane to come along with him to India. And laying his hand on hers! Ahem, I find Simon more sympathetic than I generally find Saint John, possibly because his loving family are all ‘ha, ha, he’s weird’ instead of helping him to find coping mechanisms and strategies).
