The Mindy Project 1.18 Danny’s Friend
( spoilers )
I’ve held off from posting about Nashville, because I thought there were 22 episodes in the season, not 21 – which does seem a random number, although, in hindsight, given the DRAMA of episode 21, of course it was a finale. As I found out when I tried to catch up with a non-existent episode this morning.
Nashville 1.20 A Picture from Life’s Other Side

1.21 I’ll never get out of this world alive

How to describe my feelings for the show? I’ve quite enjoyed it, although I didn’t love how they went for the second half of the season with Scarlett/Gunnar, which was what I most passionately cared about, although I like Scarlett’s journey. I enjoy the music (much more than I thought I would), which is used really well within the show, and I appreciate the drama, but I’ve never felt compelled to watch the next episode (like I’m itching to see the next episode of Top of the Lake or how there is no question that I’ll watch Once Upon a Time). My attitude has always been more ‘I’ll catch up with it eventually.’ It might help if More4 air season 2 in a 9pm slot - but not The Good Wife's. I enjoy the dynamics that having two female leads brings out. Also, I would love to see some Juliette/Liam happening at some point.
