More Ghosts

Aww at Mike spiralling at the thought of being a dad! That dream sequence must have been a gift to the actor, letting him interact with some of the ghosts, when he generally can’t. Loved that his subconscious got Robin totally wrong. And the dream baby was cute! I also loved the sight gag of Mike carrying that giant gate to block their huge stairs way before they needed to think about it.
I wonder, given that we had the return of the solicitor, whether they’ll try to bring back old faces for the rest of this series.
While I’m glad he ultimately did the right thing and acknowledged the words of the poem for the competition were Fanny’s, where did Scottish!Thomas come from? Kitty thinking she was pregnant and roping Robin into role-playing the devoted babyfather was funny up to a point, but even though it’s clear Robin is promiscuous, I’m protective of that Robin/Mary thing that happened that time. They managed to stay on the right side of funny as the Captain and Robin defused the North (England) vs. South (England) spat with some earnest pro-tolerance, anti-insularity attituded. But Fanny casually referring to her new family gave just as many feels more effortlessly.
I can’t say I’m enthused about golf as a potential money-spinner, because golf.
Have learnt there WILL be a Christmas special too. Well, they had to, really.
