Semasiography: kalirush (Original Character, Louise, gen, ‘future’ fic)
I love how this progresses from the film. It's so cleverly done, there’s a reason ‘worldbuilding’ is one of the tags and also resonates emotionally.
Community
The Death of Thanksgiving: Irony_Rocks (Britta/Jeff, ensemble)
Britta's voice – and her knowing her role is to be the one who mucks things is up is what got to me - is so good, as is the tone, with the group dynamics and chaos, as well as her and Jeff tiptoeing around their feelings. Deftly done!
Gilmore Girls
These, too: tree (Luke/Lorelai, 4.15)
Never say that Luke is unfeeling. Great use of objects and what they represent emotionally. I can see why the author dubs it unfinished, but what it is is pretty overwhelming.
Jupiter Ascending
The Taste of Amber: VR_Trakowski (gen, pre-canon, Caine-centric, teen)
Good slice of the past and portrait of Caine, the smart professional, and his qualms even as he was being used as a tool. It's dark, but there's time for the wonder and beauty in this 'verse, as well as the realities of social inequality and prejudice.
Lizzie Bennet Diaries
Fitz and Gigi's Excellent Adventure: Anjali_Organna (Gigi, Fitz, Darcy/Lizzie, post ep 78)
This is delightful and does such a great job of rounding out Gigi and Fitz, their relationship and perspectives.
