Le Freak: cupidsbow (ensemble)
This vid was a blast, but also one that reminded me of why I loved this movie. (There are legit warnings at the bottom of the post.)
Catherine, Called Birdy
Jackrabbit: tafadhali (Birdy, ensemble)
This fanvid does a great job at conveying all Birdy's energy and I liked how the use of the repetition of certain lyrics in the song put her in the context of parents, family and friends.
Dredd
The lies we speak: Khayr (Anderson/Dredd)
Vivid on the action, great job on the dance between colleagues who work so well together and people who mean more to each other. There is one detail that feels very much like ‘I had to include this as part of the prompt.’
Veronica Mars
When We Used To Be Friends: igrockspock (Logan, Veronica friendship, pre-canon, teen, long, see notes for potential triggers)
So credible, so much 'of course' about it. Really well done on Logan's perspective of all that was happening, it teases out the similarities and differences in Logan and Veronica's situations richly. I loved the coda, the fic still devastates, but it fits with the Logan of the movie.
The West Wing
That One Frozen Second: fourteenlines (CJ/Tobyish, pre-series)
Enjoyed this so much: the characterisation, the details and self-awareness.
