An A03 meme

From all the AO3-related memes I’ve seen floating around, I chose this one.

musesfool: The "If your fic were an album, what would the track list be?" meme.
1. The popular, catchy one: Comprehension (Mansfield Park, Fanny/Henry ER.) My original literary uncanonical pairing.
2. The obscure early one no one bought at the time: Flawless, a Mystique character study written pst x3, i.e. before there was an AO3, and then I reposted it after the alternate timeline movies.
3. The "experimental" one, written when you were possibly on some substance: and the bees made honey in the lion’s head (Top of the Lake, Johnno/Robin, ficlet) which is jagged, prose poetry AKA me trying to live up to the prompt and source material.
4. The slushy one: I could do a whole album of these – Some Goodnight Kisses (Harry Potter, Ron/Hermione, ER) was me being knowingly slushy
5. The brash, loud one, mid album: Chalet Future BatCat from early Gotham days, based on my cumulative idea of the characters.
6. The one born of your depressive introspection: Nothing Stays the Same (Downton Abbey, Edith, family) It’s angsty, I go deep into Edith’s mindset after her return from Switzerland.
7. The bitter one about your ex/former manager/cat: Epicinieum was definitely a riposte to the Smallville episode where Lois, Lana and Chloe were possessed by witches from the past.
8. The one only you like, you insular weirdo: Again, could be a whole album but The Princess and the Dragons of Many Hues is gen original fic about a princess and dragons, and I cannot promise I would rush to read gen original fic about a princess and dragons myself, but if I did, I might enjoy it…
9. The genre-hopping crossover hit: Hit is relative, but let’s have Keeping Watch a Push/The Losers drabble, where Cassie and Cougar bond over looking out for Nick and Jensen, who are, of course, played by the same actor.
10. The one where you tried to be "modern": this is not for you (Little Women)– I feel I have to disclaim this so much, because I do ship Jo/Bhaer, actually, but I get annoyed by his anti-genre, write what you know attitude, although I think it was good advice for Alcott. And it’s a modern day AU
11. The anthemic final track: When we were strangers (or five times Warren and Layla never met) (Sky High), it’s a ‘five times’ fic for an evergreen pairing for me.
It would be a short album!
And that reminds me that there are still fics to be reposted here and at AO3, but I also want to post recs. So, I'll probably do neither.
