What a beautiful way to start 2022, pretty much laughing throughout. Very much in the spirit of the original books.
The Avengers (TV)
The Fandom Menace: GlassHeadcanon (Steed/Peel-ish, metafic)
This is delightful. The characters are still very much themselves, and the in-jokes about fandom are palpable hits. (I wish it had been a little bit longer.)
Firefly/Serenity
All Things Nice: astralis (Mal, Zoe, Mal/Kaylee, post Serenity)
Mal's voice is a treat, the comedy is so well balanced by darker hues of grief and all the bullet holes. I loved how this unfurled.
Inception
fictio cedit veriati: Anonymous (Ariadne/Arthur, Harry Potter fusion)
Transplants Ariadne, her love of architecture and Arthur, and slight awkwardnesess well to the Potterverse. Some moments gave me chills.(And then a particularly delightful version of CAPTCHA wouldn't let me leave feedback.)
Mansfield Park/Pirates of the Caribbean
Captain Norrington Comes to Mansfield Park: WritLarge (Fanny Price/James Norrington, AU, longish)
Welcome to my heart, this crossover pairing I never knew I needed! I loved the introduction of Norrington at this very point in proceedings, and all Fanny fans will love the way he recognises and appreciates her virtues (and Fanny's head would never be turned by pirates!) Credible Regency tone, but could have done with one more edit/beta pass.
