Otherwise, I rewatched Downton Abbey the movie – aired on ITV3 in advance of Downton Abbey: A New Era, which I won’t be going to see in the cinema. Mainly I thought the same as I’d thought when I first saw it and ( one thing ).

I seem to be having difficulties with The West Wing Weekly so you may just get my unadulterated reactions to rewaching the show for now.

So, I watched the end of episode 2 and ep 3. Not ideal, obviously, to watch the last section of an episode about a week after the rest of it. ITV Hub then played up for me with the next episode but I succeeded in watching the whole thing on the same night, so I’ll take that. Of course, it could be my internet connection.

I forgot to mention that Killing Eve is ‘returning soon’. Apart from wondering if it’s a case of diminishing returns – although even though the second series wasn’t as good as the first, perhaps because of the loss of shock value or Phoebe Waller-Bridge, it was still better than much else on telly. But will a show that is so much about smashing social norms work inow? But who am I kiddin, I'll watch anything = see abve.

Also, I am spending my weekend lunchtimes devouring Friends episodes on five, because this is the start of Chandler/Monica era. Nostalgia is a part of it.
